Im Fokus der Ausstellung steht die neue Beton-Leuchtenreihe Iike paper von Miriam Aust und Sebastian Amelung. Neben dua - stellt die junge Designerin Miriam Neitzel, ihr Fotobuchprojekt WALDEN vor.
Die Ausstellungsreihe läuft seit 2007 unter dem Namen DORTMUND.KREATIV.STARS.

Die Vielfalt verschiedenster Wellkartons, wie sie nur durch das Sammeln weggeworfenen Materials zu erobern ist, macht die Leuchtenserie „Beute“ zu einer Auswahl einzigartiger Lichtobjekte. Durch Sezieren des Wellkartons und dessen gezielte Neuorganisation komprimiert der Gestalter das Erbeutete und nutzt es als Rohstoff mit besonderen Eigenschaften.

The variety of different corrugated cardboard can only be achieved by collecting discarded material. Through this, the lamp series „beute” becomes a selection of unique light objects. By dissecting and purposefully rearranging the corrugated cardboard, the designer condenses the captured material and uses it as a raw material with particular characteristics.
